Omni-directional Treadmill Walks All Over VirtuSphere
More immersive, virtual world related technology courtesy of Virtual Space Devices. Seems to have the advantage over the VirtuSphere of both having a flat surface to walk on and also being more compact.

This has a dramatic disadvantage, you can only walk 'up or down' but not left or right!
